My Theoretical Approach~
I am an existential, humanistic therapist, who works to foster growth and self-awareness with clients. I work from a systemic approach, which involves collaborative examination of not just one’s functioning, but one's overall system, and how that system impacts the individual, and vice versa. I work through a trauma-informed lens, and with cultural attunement.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Family Systems Therapy. Whether you are struggling with persistent anxiety, past trauma, working to recover from a narcissistic partner or parent, or are simply seeking greater clarity and personal growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.
